Install the Opally Outlook add-in

Add the Opally email assistant to Outlook so your team can draft on-brand replies directly in their inbox.

Step 0

Check what you need

  1. Use Outlook on the web or Outlook for Windows/Mac with a Microsoft 365 or Exchange account.
  2. Make sure you are allowed to install add-ins. In some organizations, only admins can add custom add-ins.
  3. Keep this manifest URL ready: https://outlook-addin.opally.com/manifest.xml

Step 1

Open the Add-ins store in Outlook

  1. Open Outlook (web or desktop) with the account you use for guest emails.
  2. Click Get Add-ins (sometimes called Store) in the ribbon or menu.

Step 2

Add a custom add-in from URL

  1. In the Add-ins window, go to My add-ins.
  2. Scroll to Custom add-ins and choose Add a custom add-in.
  3. Select Add from URL (or the equivalent option in your Outlook version).

Step 3

Paste the Opally manifest URL

When Outlook asks for a URL, enter:

  • https://outlook-addin.opally.com/manifest.xml
Confirm to install. The Opally panel will now be available when you read or compose emails in Outlook.
