Connect Opally to Oracle Opera Cloud

Integrate your Opera Cloud property with Opally so the AI assistant can access live reservations, guest profiles, and availability when drafting replies.

Two ways to connect

Opally integrates with Oracle OPERA Cloud using the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP). Choose the method that works best for your organization:

Method A – We register the Opally app in OHIP on your behalf (recommended)

Method B – You register the Opally app in OHIP yourself

Gather your Opera Cloud details

Verify you are running OPERA Cloud with an active subscription to OPERA Cloud Foundation.
Find your Chain Code: In OPERA Cloud, click the property code (top right) → Select Hub radio button → Search.
Find your Property Code: Displayed in the top right corner of OPERA Cloud.
Note your OPERA Cloud version and the URL you use to log in (e.g., https://xxx-uat-oc.oracleindustry.com/...).

Contact Opally to start onboarding

Email info@opally.com with your Chain Code, Property Code, OPERA Cloud version, login URL, and admin contact details.
Our team will register your property in OHIP and create an Integration User on your behalf.

Approve the Integration User

Your OPERA Cloud Chain Administrator will receive a request to approve the Integration User.
Log in to SSD (Self-Service Portal), locate the request, claim it, and approve.
Confirm the WSACCESS role is assigned to the newly created integration user.

Connect in Opally

Once approved, Opally will complete the OHIP setup. Then in your Opally dashboard:

Go to Integrations and select Opera Cloud
Choose your authentication type (Client Credentials or Resource Owner)
Enter your Gateway URL and Hotel ID
Add your Enterprise ID or Integration User credentials

Click Connect to complete the integration.

Alternative: Register Opally yourself (Method B)

If you prefer to register the app yourself in OHIP:

Sign in to the Oracle Developer Portal and go to Applications → Register Application
Enter 'Opally' as the application name and select your environment
Subscribe to the Oracle Hospitality APIs you need and complete registration

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this integration with Opera On-Premise?

Currently, the integration is supported for Oracle Opera Cloud users only. If you're using an on-premise version, there are still many features of Opally you can benefit from – contact us to learn more.

What is OHIP?

OHIP (Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform) is Oracle's cloud-based integration layer for OPERA Cloud. It provides secure, standardized APIs that third-party applications like Opally use to access property data.

Do I need to subscribe to OPERA Cloud Foundation?

Yes, an active OPERA Cloud Foundation subscription is required for the OHIP APIs to work. Please verify this with your Oracle account manager if you're unsure about your subscription status.
